Paddle for a Purpose: Join the 13th Annual Wirral Kayak Challenge in Support of the Barnstondale Centre

We're delighted to be supported by the Wirral Kayak Challenge this year! Participants will take on a 14-mile route from New Brighton to Thurstaston to raise money for charity—including vital funds for the Barnstondale Centre.

Event Details:
The adventure kicks off at around 6:00am from Harrison Drive beach, just after high tide. Kayakers will paddle behind Hilbre Island at low tide before reaching the finish line at Dee Sailing Club by approximately 3:00pm, where post-event entertainment awaits.

Registration nights will be held at The Railway pub in Meols, starting mid-April. Come along to sign up for the 2025 Wirral Kayak Challenge.

How to Join #TeamBarnstondale:

1. Attend a registration night and sign up for the event. Registration events take place every Thursday at The Railway Pub Meols CH67 6AB between 19:30pm - 21:30pm between 24th April - 26th June 2025.

2. Email siobhan@barnstondale.org to let us know you’re paddling for us.

3. Set up a Just Giving page to start fundraising for our cause.
    

4. We’ll send you a Barnstondale supporter t-shirt and help you kickstart your fundraising.
