Barnstondale Centre wins Children's Charity of the Year Award!

We won!

We’re absolutely thrilled to share that the Barnstondale Centre has been awarded Children’s Charity of the Year at the Wirral Life Awards 2024, held last Friday at the iconic Titanic Hotel in Liverpool.

Since the early 1900's the Barnstondale Centre has been supporting children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Since 2001 when the Barnstondale Centre became a charity the site has welcomed more than 6000+ children and young people to their site for activity days and residential expereinces, every year. What makes the centre special is it's inclusive approach to outdoor education, provisions facilitate residential stays and activities for children with disabiltiies and the centre fundraises to part-fund places for thousands of disadvantaged children who would otherwise miss out on the experience.
