Barnstondale has been supporting children for over 60 years. As an inclusive outdoor activity centre, we’ve made it our mission to make outdoor education accessible for everyone.
Who remembers their school residential trip? Memories we all made with friends at such an early and informative stage in our young lives. Who wouldn't want that for their own children, and for generations to come! A gift in your will can make sure that all children, in future, have equal access to outdoor education and the experiences and memories it offers. Gifting a child the opportunity to participate in outdoor education is a special way to enrich the lives of children who face disadvantage and limited opportunity.
Gifts in Wills are incredibly important for Barnstondale as the number of children living in poverty in the UK is on the rise, which means more children are missing out on vital experiences with their friends. We don’t believe money should be a barrier to children experiencing outdoor learning and all of it's benefits. However, for 34% of the children who visit our facilities, sadly that is the case without our support.
With your help we can continue to transform lives by giving children an opportunity to explore, learn and grow. Together we can ensure the children of today and children in future have the opportunity to make lasting memories.
Any donation – however big or small – will make a real difference to the children we support.
There are also financial benefits in making a will, such as reducing the total taxable value of your estate and reducing the rate of inheritance tax you pay.
With this in mind, Barnstondale has partnered with Kwil to offer all our supporters premium access to a free online will service.
